The Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission opened its doors on 9 February 2021 to bring leadership and oversight to the transformation of our mental health and addiction system, and to contribute to better and equitable mental health and wellbeing outcomes for all people in Aotearoa.
As the PA to our Directors, you will be responsible for providing day to day support to our Leadership Team that will support the effective and efficient operation of the Commission.
This is a new position and you will have scope to work with each Director setting up successful ways of working with them. As a new organisation that is growing and developing while we deliver, key to your success will be your flexibility and initiative in identifying pragmatic solutions to day to day pieces of work.
You will have previous experience providing support to mid-level or senior management, be highly organised and able to manage competing demands and changing priorities. Ideally you will be familiar with machinery of government and government processes and have knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi – or a desire to learn.
